Ruffa Gutierrez on whether new love is 'the one': Only time will tell

MANILA, Philippines- Ruffa Gutierrez admires her boyfriend Jordan Mouyal's commitment to their relationship.

Although she's undeniably happy for the few months they've been together, Ruffa said that “For now our focus is really work first and saka na 'yan. Ang inspirasyon naman, importante sa buhay, but for me work muna and priorities in life.”

When asked if she thins he's already “the one,” Ruffa replied, “only time will tell.”

In an interview with Boy Abunda and Kris Aquino on “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” on Monday, Ruffa admired how Mouyal stayed with him despite the criticism against him.

“Di ba 'yong mga Pinoy [na manliligaw ko] kapag inaaway ni Mommy nawawala nang parang bula! Siya, wala siyang paki, stay!” Ruffa said, laughing.

“What's nice about him is nandyan siya kahit ano pa ang nangyayari. He's there to hold my hand and support me along the way. 'Yong hindi siya nakikialam sa showbiz intrigues o anuman nangyayari. He got his own thing.”

Even before reports about Ruffa and Mouyel came out, she has been open to her daughters Lorn and Venice about their relationship.

The beauty-queen-turned-actress said her daughters wanted to know from her directly if she's seeing someone rather than knowing about it on different news platforms.
