Netizens 'still proud' of Bianca Guidotti after Ms. International failure

Chuck Smith - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines – Pinoy beauty pageant fans are heartbroken as Bianca Guidotti failed to reach the semi-finals of the 2014 Miss International pageant on Tuesday.

This year's Miss International is held at the Grand Prince Hotel in Takanawa, Japan.

This is the first time in six years that a Philippine candidate did not make it in the Miss International's top 10. Last year, Bea Rose Santiago won the Miss International title.

The hashtag #MissInternational2014 became a Twitter trending topic in the Philippines right after it was reported that Bianca dropped out of the competition's top 10.

But nonetheless, some local netizens are still proud of Bianca, saying the 25-year-old beauty queen “represented the country well.”

However, other netizens ask: what went wrong?

Could it be that her evening gown, which some netizens said was “ill-fitting,” sealed the deal for Bianca?

Despite the loss, Pinoy beauty pageant fans still have a lot to look forward to in the coming months as the country compete in the Miss World and Miss Supranational pageants this December and the Miss Universe pageant in January 2015.
