The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Atom Araullo shows televiewers how to keep your family or friend outings safe this semestral break as he teaches everyone the basics in reviving a drowning victim and other safety tips today on ABS-CBN’s Red Alert.

According to the Department of Health (DOH), eight Filipinos die of drowning every day, with 35 percent of the victims mostly teenagers and children aged 14  and below.

Tatay Boyet’s nine-year-old son Bojo was among the victims. In the episode, he recounts to Atom what he went through when his child, whom he hadn’t seen for a long time, was taken away from him in a snap.

Red Alert airs Fridays after Kapamilya Blockbusters on ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold.
