Sam Milby denies Piolo Pascual hindering courtship with Shaina Magdayao

MANILA, Philippines - Sam Milby denied that Piolo Pascual is stopping him from courting Shaina Magdayao.

"Hindi totoo," was Sam's short reply when asked to clarify the reports that Piolo is hindering him in courting Shaina.

In previous interviews, Piolo has been open about his "special friendship" with Shaina. While this is the second time that Sam is trying to pursue the actress.

"Wala namang hindrance. It was an unexpected friendship," the Kapamilya actor further adds, referring to his relationship with Shaina.

"We have common friends and I'm happy with our friendship and where it is going right now. Kung mag-grow, malalaman n'yo naman."

Although "The Gifted" leading man admitted that he would prefer to keep his personal life  private this time.

"Kung mayro'n akong nililigawan ayaw ko na rin sabihin," he says smiling. "Kasi minsan kapag sinasabi ko hindi nangyayari."

"At the same time, if I say na I'm making ligaw to this girl tapos hindi mag-push through, ang daming sinasabi ng mga tao. But if it pushes through, of course I'll share."

Before the interview ended, Sam asked one last time of the status of his relationship with Shaina and all he said was "our friendship is growing."
