Daniel Matsunaga's reaction to ex-gf Heart's engagement

MANILA, Philippines – Daniel Matsunaga's win in the ABS-CBN reality show “Pinoy Big Brother All In” last Sunday coincided with the news of his ex-girlfriend Heart Evangelista's engagement to Francis “Chiz” Escudero over the weekend.
 
The 25-year-old model-actor said he is happy for Heart.
 
“Okay lang. Masaya ako para sa kanila,” Daniel said in an interview with ABS-CBN's late night talk show “Aquino and Abunda Tonight” on Monday, August 25. 
 
Asked if he has already moved on, he said: “Move on talaga. Matagal na.”
 
Daniel and Heart became a couple in 2010, but broke up early 2012. 
 
Heart and Escudero, meanwhile, admitted their relationship in October 2012.
 
The Japanese-Brazilian model said he's planning to move his family to the Philippines. 
 
“Para sa akin, puso talagang Pinoy ako. Kasi I lived here for five years. Plano ko talaga to bring my whole family here,” he said.
 
Daniel added, “Kahit sa Brazil, I tried Big Brother in Brazil. I did audition pero denied. And syempre, dito sa Pilipinas, lahat ng opportunities, you guys are amazing, amazing people.”
 
“Lahat ng sinabi sa akin ni God na I have a purpose here sa Pilipinas happened. Talagang sobrang proud ako na maging pusong Pinoy kasi syempre gusto ko talaga maging totoong Pilipino,” he said.
