KMJS presents Isla Kulinarya

MANILA, Philippines - Experience an evening of gastronomic delight tonight at 7:45 as Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS) unveils some of the most well-known Pinoy dishes in the special food documentary Isla Kulinarya.

Just recently, two Pinoy favorites gained international recognition: Sisig as New York Times’ greatest pork dish on Earth and chori burger as best burger in the Battle of the Burger held in New York. A couple of years ago, lechon baboy was declared by Anthony Bourdain in Time Magazine as the best pork ever.

With these recognitions, the public yearns to find out which among the local cuisines should be known worldwide as the ultimate Pinoy dish? Rediscover the taste and the history of some of the country’s notable food in the  food documentary.

Join host Jessica Soho (photo) as she visits Pampanga to learn how to cook the original sisig.  Viewers will also enjoy the sumptuous evolution of roasted pork or lechong baboy and discover the delicious chori burger as KMJS flies to Boracay.

The docu also features the various ingredients that make the flavor of sinigang unique and the many ways of preparing the scrumptious adobo.
