Matteo on relationship with Sarah: 'I don't want to lose this one'

MANILA, Philippines – Despite the speed bumps they have encountered in their relationship, Matteo Guidicelli said girlfriend Sarah Geronimo is “worth everything.”
“My family loves Sarah. I love her a lot. And I'll do whatever it takes. This girl, I feel like a woman, she's worth everything,” he said in an interview with ABS-CBN's showbiz talk show “The Buzz” on Sunday, August 10.
The ABS-CBN actor added, “It's not because of who she is, Sarah Geronimo, it's not that. It's the person who she really is outside the cameras.”
“When we're together, without and make up and everything, she's very true. I don't think I can find anybody like this person. I don't want to lose this one.”
Last week, reports surfaced that Sarah and Matteo had a misunderstanding over the singer-actress' absence during the recently-concluded Ironman triathlon event in Cebu, which the actor participated in.
Denying the rumored spat, Matteo said that “in every relationship, there are always challenges.”
“It's not an easy ride. All relationships are difficult, are challenging. And I think these are just speed bumps to make everything stronger in the future,” he explained.
“I hope so. I try to be optimistic in everything,” Matteo said when asked if he feels Sarah is “the one.” “So I want to say I know, I want to be positive in everything. But you know, in every relationship, there are always challenges.”
He also said, “We hope the best for everything. I pray every night for everything to go well.”
Sarah admitted she is in a relationship with Matteo last June.
In his interview with “The Buzz,” Matteo revealed they've been in a relationship since last year.
“I'm just honest all the time with her—my feelings, everything I think, everything I feel, I'm honest. Sometimes I'm too honest so it gets me in trouble,” Matteo said when asked how he courted Sarah. “But I believe honesty is the best thing in the world.”
