KC Concepcion hurt over persistent pregnancy, abortion rumors

MANILA, Philippines – KC Concepcion admits she got hurt over the persistent pregnancy and abortion rumors hounding her.

 

The 29-year-old actress was the subject of a recent pregnancy rumor after leaving the country for the US earlier this year. She already addressed the issue on her Instagram account last June. “I'm not pregnant. I have never been pregnant my entire life,” the daughter of actress Sharon Cuneta said.

In an interview with ABS-CBN's showbiz talk show “The Buzz” aired on Sunday, the ABS-CBN actress said: “Nasasaktan din ako, kasi kunwari mommy ko na yung nagtanong or kapatid ko na yung nagtanong.”

 

“Parang doon ako nahihirapan, sa totoo lang, kasi paulit-ulit lang yung tinatanong sa akin. And paulit-ulit lang akong nagde-deny kasi yun naman yung totoo,” KC added.

 

She pleaded: “Kaya huwag naman po, please, nagmamakaawa po ako, huwag n'yo na pong ulitin yung rumor na yan kasi wala pong katotohanan.”

 

KC explained it hurts her that her siblings Miel and Miguel are also being linked in the issue. Rumors claim that her siblings are supposedly her children, an issue the Kapamilya talent denied.

 

“Kung hindi si Miel si Miguel naman so parang ano ba kayo, nagtratrabaho lang ako dito,” she said.

 

“Yung fact kasi na parang umiikot yung pregnancy rumor na yun. Dumating kasi sa point na 18 years old pa lang ako, andun na yung isyu na yun,” KC also said.

“Para klaro sa lahat, sobrang walang katotohanan. Never ako ever nabuntis sa buong buhay ko. At lalong never akong nagpa-abort. Kung hindi nga ako nabuntis, paano ako magpapa-abort?”

 

KC, who was recently named Best Actress at the recently concluded 62nd Annual FAMAS Awards, will join the cast of the ABS-CBN primetime soap opera “Ikaw Lamang.” She was last seen on the network in the 2013 drama “Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala.”
