Alex Gonzaga enjoyed 'freedom' inside PBB House

MANILA, Philippines- Alex Gonzaga admitted that she had a hard time adjusting after leaving the “Pinoy Big Brother” house.

She  was a guest housemate for the “All In” edition of the reality show, and stayed there for 49 days.

“Parang ano, lahat naman nag-ga-gano'n,”  In a recent interview, Alex addressed reports she's seeing a psychiatrist after her stay at the famous house.

“Itong one week kasi parang, di naman na-depress, parang hindi pa ako 'yong ako paglabas ko. Kasi parang gusto ko bumalik.”

Many were surprised that she wants to go back inside the PBB house., but Alex said that “kasi parang ang sarap-sarap sa loob. First time ko mag-overnight sa ibang bahay, 'di naman po ako housemate kaya di ko nararamdaman 'yong pressure ng nomination.

“Tapos parang it's my fist time also wala 'yong Mommy ko, wala masyadong sumisita. Parang ang sarap sa loob kasi walang cellphone, 'yong talagang bonding kami. 'Yon ang gusto ko 'yong bonding namin.”

Pressure on New Show

Meanwhile, Alex doesn't want to dwell on the pressure of doing her first TV series after returning to ABS-CBN.

She'll be starring in the Filipino adaptation of the Korean series “Pure Love,” where she'll play the role of Diane, a bubbly girl, whose soul will separate from her body after an accident, and the only way she could return is by collecting tears of pure love.

“Hindi ko iniisip 'yon, kasi lahat kami dito baguhan,” she said referring to her co-stars. “Ito po ang first soap ko sa ABS sa pagbalik ko po. Tsaka 'yong story po talaga and 'yong Pure Love itself sikat na po talaga siya sa mga kabataan na nakapanood.”

Since her show is on the drama genre, many believe that she is  trying to veer away from her sister Toni Gonzaga's  forte of  romantic-comedy.

Alex denied this. 

“Hindi naman po conscious effort,” she said about doing drama shows. “Kasi kung ikumpara ako sa kanya, sabihin mas magaling siya, totoo naman po 'yon, e. Okay lang po sa akin 'yon kasi nakapasok naman po talaga ako sa showbiz dahil sa kanya.

“So wala pong problema sa akin 'yon, walang conscious effort na maiba ang image ko sa kanya. Siguro po ito talaga 'yong saktong nabigay sa akin na trabaho, siguro napili ako dahil sa mga VTR ko. So wala pong gano'n.”

“Pure Love” will start airing on July 7, before “TV Patrol.”
