Willie Revillame: 'Basta babalik na po ako'

MANILA, Philippines – After being absent from the limelight for almost eight months, Willie Revillame says he will finally return to television within three months.
 
“Basta babalik na po ako within three months, sigurado po yan,” he said in an interview with GMA-7's showbiz talk show “Startalk” on Sunday, May 18.
 
The controversial showbiz personality was last seen on TV on October of last year via TV5's noontime variety show “Wowowillie” after quitting the show to reportedly focus on his real estate businesses. 
 
Willie was with the Kapatid network from 2010 to 2013 after leaving ABS-CBN. 
 
Willie added: â€œNagiipon lang ako ng mas maraming ideas... Gusto ko yung masaya, ayoko ng malungkot. Gusto ko yung opening, nagsasayawan.” 
 
“Ang napapanood natin sa news, puro na lang tayo corruption, puro patayan... Dapat sa gabi, habang kumakain ang pamilya sa hapag-kainan, ang pinanonood n'yo po ay mga good news.” 
 
However, he did not mention any details on his return to showbiz. 
 
Meanwhile, Willie also denied reports that he is currently addicted to gambling. 
 
“Yung perang nilalaro ko sa casino, perang pinaghirapan ko yan at hindi pera ng kung sinu-sino. Nag-e-enjoy lang ako sa buhay,” he said.
 
He admitted selling some of his properties, but denied he did it because he is already losing money due to his gambling.
 
“Ganito kasimple yan: marami kang nabiling investments, hindi mo na napapakinabanggan yung iba, ano gagawin mo dun? Nagbabayad ka ng monthly dues, nagbabayad ka ng taxes,” Willie explained.
