Maja says reviving friendship with Kim 'takes time'

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines- Maja Salvador knows that it will take a while before her friendship with Kim Chiu is fully healed and rekindled.

“It takes time sa lahat. 'Wag natin madaliin, di ba?” Maja said in an interview with Marie Lozano for “TV Patrol” aired Tuesday, April 22.

Maja bared that she was the one who reached out to Kim because she wants to put the past behind them.  The two had a falling out after Gerald Anderson, Kim's ex-boyfriend, began wooing  Maja who was then Kim's best friend.

“May pagkakamali kaming lahat,” she said about patching things up with Kim. “Hindi naman kailangan magtaas pa ng pride. Dapat talaga isa sa inyo [ibaba ang pride].”

Kim has  earlier said that her reconciliation  with Maja and Gerald is a good early birthday gift for her, adding there is no use in holding grudges.

Maja has recently renewed her contract with Petit Monde, a clothing line she endorses.

“The Legal Wife” star is one of the female celebrities that ladies look up to for fashion inspiration.

“Nakatulong sa akin 'yong si Margaux,” she said,  referring to her role in “Ina, Kapatid, Anak.” “Kasi kapag may mga karakter kang fashionista, do'n mo nailalabas 'yong ibang side mo.”

Mentioning her role in the project where she last worked with Kim, Maja was asked if she's willing to work on another project with her.

“Hindi ka naman nagko-close ng doors di ba? Dapat lagi kang welcome sa mga projects na darating,” Maja replied with a smile.
