IN PHOTOS: Benjamin Alves celebrates 25th birthday with charity event

MANILA, Philippines- Benjamin Alves held an early celebration of his birthday with the residents of Tahanang Walang Hagdan in Rizal.

Benjamin will celebrate his 25th birthday on Monday, March 31.

Besides celebrating Benjamin's birthday, the event also served as a thanksgiving  for the success of his recently concluded show “Adarna,” where he starred with Kylie Padilla and Geoff Eigenmann.

Benjamin is the nephew of the Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual.

Some of the residents of Tahanang Walang Hagdan participated in the games prepared for the celebration.

One of the residents handed Benjamin a flower while he was performing for them.

Benjamin also gave out goodies to the residents.

While giving a message to all the residents of the Tahanang Walang Hagdan, Benjamin said that “hangang-hanga po ako sa inyong lahat,” referring to the residents' courage to live life to the fullest despite their condition.
