Tribute to modern-day heroes in Sunday All Stars

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Today, the brightest and biggest Kapuso stars pay tribute to the country’s modern-day heroes through a series of heartfelt, yet fun musical acts in Sunday All Stars.

Last week’s best performer Andrea Torres opens the show followed by Rodjun Cruz and his winning team, the Tweethearts.

With the team’s losing streak since week one of Cycle 2, Ligang iLike with their team leader Aicelle Santos is all set to get dirty and conquer the stage as they pay honor to the country’s construction workers and engineers abroad.

The same goes with Max Collins and her gang of Tropang Trending who are more determined than ever with their almost-win from last week’s theme. Experience the fun side of being at the sea with Tropang Trending’s take on the life of seamen and seafarers.

Watch out for Tweetheart’s special guest, OPM icon Donna Cruz, who will be joining them as they show us a day in the life of caregivers and nurses abroad interpreted through a musical act.

And will Instagang together with their leader LJ Reyes snatch their third win this time around as they give us a glimpse on the life of domestic helpers? Meanwhile, it is going to be a back-to-back birthday celebration for Christian Bautista and Rhian Ramos.

Also joining the fun are Tom Rodriguez and Dennis Trillo who will be revealing their first album. Plus, Sunday All Stars welcomes its newest members and hosts, basketball teen heartthrobs Kobe Paras and Andre Paras.
