Sunday All Stars presents world festivals

MANILA, Philippines - Tension is building up on GMA 7’s Sunday All Stars. After earning its fifth win, Tropang Trending is now earning the ire of other teams as well. Looks like its former leader Mark Bautista’s joke of encouraging the other teams to merge in order to keep up did not sit well with Tweet Heart’s team leader Sef Cadayona and key member Steven Silva. But it sounds fine with Instagang Leader Winwyn Marquez who also called the attention of Tweet Hearts and Ligang iLike’s leader Aljur Abrenica for a mock merge. Aljur, meanwhile, has his eye on Tropa’s Mark Herras because of a controversial statement the latter addressed towards them last Sunday.

With tension in the air, find out how all four groups can pull off a theme as big and as grand as World Fiesta (Festivals). Defending champion Tropang Trending will be channeling the Middle Eastern festivals; its Latin American festivals for the underdogs Tweet Hearts; African festivals for the calm and quiet Instagang; and Asia and the Pacific festivals for the fierce Ligang iLike.  Watch out also for another set of exciting surprise guests that will take each team a step closer to achieving that much-coveted win.  

And what is a world festivity-themed episode without the reigning Miss World-Philippines herself, Megan Young? Watch as this StarStruck Season2 Avenger whom her colleagues fondly call “Meggy” comes to dazzle the show with her beauty, grace and newfound confidence.
