Gov't shouldn't wait for floods to start working on city's drainage problem

RAINY DAYS. A concerned businessman told The Ear that he saw the front page picture of The Freeman recently with knee-high floodwater. He said that the government shouldn’t wait for floods to start working on the city’s drainage problem.

NO ACTION TAKEN. He said, “Ngano dili man nila lihokon dayon ang drainage problem sa ciudad? Naa silay pila ka buwan pagtrabaho ana samtang wala pa nagsugod ang ulan. Karon nga magsugod na ang ting ulan ug magkaproblema na ta sa baha, mangiyogpus lang gihapon sila? Unsa may gibuhat anang government agency in charge sa drainage problem sa city? Wala may aksiyon.”
