‘Backyard Brawl’ in Dumlog on November 25

CEBU, Philippines — The seventh sequel of Muay Thai and Kickboxing Invitational dubbed as ‘Backyard Brawl’ is set for November 25 at the Dumlog Sports Complex in Barangay Dumlog, Talisay City.

"We are doing this event to help encourage the youth to do combat sports like Muay Thai that will keep them away from drugs. Aside from being a good martial art, Muay Thai also teaches discipline,” said Kru Roberto Serdone of the organizing Redneos Iron Gladiator Muay Thai Association.

Kickboxers coming from different clubs all over the Visayas will see action in the event. Some of the participating stables are Arcomjukai of Mandaue City, Black Panther Gym of Lapu-Lapu City, Redneos Iron Gladiator Muay Thai's Talisay and Dipolog City chapters and Yaw-Yan ArDigma Cebu.

In the main bouts, Dipolog City's Jung Xian Bagarinao Gako of Redneos Iron Gladiator will battle against Vincent Rocacurva of Arcomjukai, while Lymel Villacrusis of Yaw-Yan ArDigma Cebu will take on Lea Hara of Arcomjukai. (FREEMAN)
