Convergys,Timex sizzle in Aboitiz football

CEBU, Philippines — Convergys and Timex both scored convincing victories against respective opponents in the men’s BPO division of the 19th Aboitiz Football Cup yesterday at the Paref Springdale in Barangay Lahug, Cebu City.

Convergys annihilated NCR, 6-1, while Timex silenced ePerformax, 6-0.

While its men’s team continued their winning ways, Convergys’ female squad faltered in the hands of MEZ lady booters, 4-2. This is the second straight victory for MEZ who also silenced Vax United, 1-0, in its previous game.

Like MEZ, Accenture also escaped with a 1-0 win over Optum.
