CEBU, Philippines — Franz Dionne Dysam of two-time defending champion Convergys Converters came out the best among the rest after he fired a tournament record 68 points to power Team B to a 124-79 blowout of Team A in the All-Star Game of the Tanduay Athletics CSCC E-Leagues for Basketball Season 13 last Saturday at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

It was a double celebration for the red-hot Dysam as he also topped the 3-point shootout with 14 points.

Dysam, who also had five steals and two rebounds, was backed up Pol Alfeche of the Wipro Tigers with 16 points and four rebounds. They were seriously threatened only once after cruising to a hot 32-20 start.

Team A pulled within just two points after three quarters, 63-65, but Team B detonated a devastating 59-16 bomb at the endgame to pulverize its hapless foes into smithereens.

Achie Batua had 24 points and seven rebounds, Roberto Castro Jr. of the Contact Solutions Flying Lemurs scattered 13 points, six rebounds and four blocks while Joirene Salcedo of the Supportsave Dragons scored 10 in a losing effort for Team A.

Meanwhile, Clarence Torre of Accenture won the Skills Challenge after completing the task with the fastest time of 23.02 seconds, while Jhoniel Geraldizo and Paul Sanchez of the Sykes Pioneers lorded it over the 2-ball competition with 41 points. (FREEMAN)
