Caneda sizzles anew in FDR Grand Prix
CEBU, Philippines - Garry Caneda sustained his momentum to claim back-to-back titles in the expert underbone category during the second leg of the FDR Visayas Grand Prix over the weekend at the Kartzone racing circuit in Barangay Kasambagan, Cebu City.
Caneda, who ruled the first leg last February, defeated John Paul Lantape anew for the top spot while Jacob Cabahug placed third.
Cabahug also finished third in the intermediate underbone dominated by Lantape.
Cabahug though still has something to be happy about as he took home two championship trophies in the novice underbone and novice automatic.
Like Cabahug, Simon Spencer Solon also got two titles via the expert automatic and intermediate automatic.
On the other hand, Chloe Mallari snared the ladies underbone 115 crown. She also took the third place honors in the
ladies automatic won by Jannesse Lucero.
The other winners in the action-packed race organized by the Mallari Racing Development were Rommel Paz (sportbike),
Francis Montefalcon (beginners underbone), Henry Ricamora (special category) and Kyle Quindao (beginners one-make race). (FREEMAN)
