Baguio,Garucho top CBX Anniversary Run
CEBU, Philippines - Jezrel Baguio and Reah Mae Garucho dominated their respective divisions in the CBX Corporation Anniversary Farktlek Run yesterday morning at the Negros road in Cebu Business Park, Cebu City.
Baguio topped the men’s 12K class with a time of 45 minutes and four seconds followed by Peter Canumay in 44:43, while Karl Lee placed third with 49:16, clocking.
In the distaff side, Garucho reigned supreme after reaching the finish line in 56 minutes and 38 seconds. Sandra Soliano occupied the second place with a time of 58:10 followed by Analyn Lu with 1:20:00.
In the 6K action, Wilben Polancos ruled the men’s division with a time of 23:25. Clint Tyler (24:11) and CJ Lipura (26:26) placed second and third place, respectively.
Francesca Rago took the women’s crown with a time of 29:32. Renalyn Muñoz trailed with her 36:40 clocking as Gina Roja landed at third in 36:47.
Meanwhile, Jessie Abelgas (11:58) and Marielle Estreba (12:51) won the 3K titles. (FREEMAN)
