Global Cebu takes on Davao Aguilas tonight
CEBU, Philippines - Global Cebu FC seeks for its third win at home and seventh overall when it faces Davao Aguilas today in the Philippine Football League (PFL) at the Cebu City Sports Center.
Game time is at 7 pm.
Global Cebu was successful in defending its turf against Ceres Negros FC and Laguna Stallion.
Global Cebu booters prevailed during their first meeting with the Aguilas in Tagum City last June 21, 2-1, but the home team is cautious as the visiting squad will be out for a vengeance.
Apart from scoring a sweet revenge against Global, the Aguilas are determined to break into the win column.
The Global Cebu FC is currently at No.2 behind FC Meralco Manila with 20 points while the Davao Aguilas is at sixth place with four points with their four draws.
Global Cebu FC though also has to pray Ceres Negros FC will be able to beat the FC Meralco Manila in their encounter today in Panaad so that they can claim the lead.
FC Meralco, who stands at 23 points, battles Ceres Negros which currently holds the fifth spot with 16 points. (FREEMAN)
