Mallari, Ramirez shine in Motack

CEBU, Philippines - Cebu’s road racing princess Chloe Mallari and scooter king Sylvester Ramirez stole the show in the third leg of the Phoenix FDR Philippine Motorcycle Time Attack Series at Cafe Racer the other day.

The 17-year-old Mallari bagged the ladies open crown with a time of  81.65 seconds, her best on an intricate race course.

Jeaneth Minoza timed 89.73 seconds, good for second place as Jonalyn Cajefe came out third in 101.76sec.

Ramirez, on the other hand, had a 1-2 finish in two separate classes.

Ramirez was outsmarted by Rommel Paz, his teammate at Mallari Racing Development, for the top honors in the underbone but save his best for last, posting the fastest time of 62.47sec to dominate the automatic category.

 Juaner Amancio topped the sports category in 89.08sec, Cliff Abarquez ruled the backbone division in 74.05sec, while veteran circuit rider Neil Perino stamped his class in the beginners automatic.
