Extort gang leader falls

SULTAN KUDARAT, Philippines – A suspected leader of an extortion ring was arrested in an entrapment in Datu Saudi town in Maguindanao on Thursday.
Jerry Ibrahim, 43, was collared after he received a package containing dummy paper bills from undercover agents.
Ibrahim reportedly demanded P1 million from Husky bus line and threatened to burn its buses if he is not paid.
Several drivers and conductors of the bus company had complained of harassment by unidentified gunmen along the Cotabato-General Santos highway.
