TCC scoop 9 golds in DCPI tourney

CEBU, Philippines - Dancesport-Team Cebu City raked in nine golds, a dozen silvers and  and six bronzes in the 2016 DanceSport Council of the Philippines, Inc. (DSCPI) Mid-Year Ranking and Competition at the PhilSports Arena yesterday.

DTCC directress Eleanor Hayco again showed her versatility to rule both the latin and standard division.

Hayco dominated the senior A latin along with Jimmy Noel and the senior C standard together with Bjorn Torren. Her tandem with Bert Kevin Diluvio in the teacher-student 2B ended in a silver finish.

Jake Emmanuel Corro and Andrea Kiem Capangpangan added gold in the junior A latin, while the tandem of Gylle Nino Diluvio and Julia Branzuela delivered in the standard division.

The other gold medallists were Simon Asuque and Rylyn Jhea Romeo (junior C standard), Crispin Sato, Jr. and Yedda Marie Castanares (youth C),Jaydel Fresh Pat and Angel Therese Epe (juvenile A standard), Jeffrey Ruben Benarao and Therese Andrea Quilaton (grade B latin), and Jesse Yap and Diane James (teacher-student 2A standard).—  (FREEMAN)
