Ateneo, Warshockz sizzle in Bohol bootfest

CEBU, Philippines - The Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu and Team Warshockz shone brightly in the Futbohol sa Kabataan 2016 at the VDT Advance Learning Center field in Tagbilaran City.

SHS-AdC snatched the under-12, 14 and 15 titles, while Warshockz ruled the girls under-15 and 17.

SHS-AdC proved too much for Team Freun, 3-0 in the under-12 final.

The Ateneans beat the same team in the 14-under championship, then put the proverbial icing on their victory cake with a 3-0 thrashing of host Tagbilaran FC for the under-15 crown.

In the distaff side, Warshockz bested Holy Name University, 1-0, to take away the under-15 tiara. The Cebuano visitors spared no mercy against DCPNHS, 5-0, to top the girls 17 category.— (FREEMAN)
