Rose Pharmacy Openchessfest unwraps today

CEBU, Philippines - Top-rated Cebuano pawnpushers and neophytes alike will once again try to outdo each other in the CEBU, Philippines - Rose Pharmacy Chess Classic Open Tournament set to start at 9:30 a.m. today at the Cebu School of Chess along P. del Rosario Street, Cebu City.

The 7-round Swiss system competition offers over P10,000 in cash prize to the top finishers.

The champion will take home P5,000, while the second and third placers will receive P3,000 and P1,000, respectively.

The fourth to 10th will get a consolation prize of P300 each. The top two kiddies and lady players will pocket P700 and P300.
