Dalaguete to host Duraman duathlon

CEBU, Philippines - All is set for the second edition of the Duraman Off-road Duathlon on May 28 in Barangay Mantalongon, Dalaguete.

The first Duraman duathlon happened two years ago in Toledo City and Go Active Marketing and Events (GAME) with the support of the local government of Dalaguete have joined forces to revive the race.

This time, the organizers decided to make the race a bit easier to give chance to the beginners.

"We want more participants to enjoy not only the race but the cool, breezy and very scenic race course,” said GAME’s Jerome Mil in a press conference yesterday at the City Sports Club-Cebu.

The run-bike tilt will kick off with a three-kilometer run, followed by a 15K bike then finish with a 6K run.

The event features all individual race spread into different age-group categories. The top three finishers in the male and female will receive cash prizes.
