Tan dominates in Karambowling
CEBU, Philippines - Clifford Tan snatched the temporary lead for the ‘Bowler of the Year’ race after winning the latest Karambowling over the weekend at Gaisano Bowlingplex in Barangay Banilad, Cebu City.
Tan toppled down 858 pins in four games to win the latest weekly battle.
Tan opened with 179 before producing his best output at game 2 with 240, followed with 158 on the third game and finished off with 197 pins.
Tan also won the bowl-a-lain game 2 regular plus a jackpot prize of P3, 250.
Wilbert Yu trailed Tan with 841 pins as Luke Bolongan placed third with 793 pins.
Rounding up the top 10 were Dory Enoveso(787), Clarenc Tiu(782), Johnny Yap(776), Vivian Padawan(758), Geff Buyco(750), Boy Co(743) and Tess Regino (741).
With his win,Tan now occupied the overall lead with 10 points after four weekly battles, followed by Bolongan in second place with nine points. (FREEMAN)
