SHS-AdC belles arrange final duel versus SWU

CEBU, Philippines – The Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu belles will take on the Southwestern University in a ‘best-of-three’ championship action in the secondary division of the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Incorporated's volleyball event.

Game-1 is scheduled to take place on October 17 at the University of  San Carlos gym.

Both SHS-AdC and SWU won their final assignments in the semifinal round both with a straight set victory at the University of Southern Philippine Foundation's court yesterday.

SWU defeated the University of San Jose-Recoletos, 25-16, 25-23, while SHS-AdC pulled off a thrilling 25-22, 25-22 upset victory against defending champion USC.

With their victories, SWU was on top with seven points, SHS-AdC with six while USJ-R got five points. USC was winless in three games.

In the tertiary division, defending champion SWU Lady Cobras posted back-to-back wins in the penultimate round at the expense of  USC, 27-25, 21-25, 25-15, 25-15.USJ-R also beat USPF, 25-23, 20-25, 25-22, 25-21. (FREEMAN)
