4th AWUM race kicks off tonight, ends tomorrow

CEBU, Philippines - The 4th All-Women's Ultra Marathon, also fondly known as the "longest fashion show on Earth", kicks off at 10:00 tonight at the Cebu City Hall and will end tomorrow at D' Family Park in Talamban, this city.

A record 255 runners will be joining in this year's edition of the annual event.

This all-female ultra race started in 2012 with 182 entries. It drew only 150 participants in 150, but the number grew considerably to 251 last year.

This will also be the first time that the event will not end in Mactan Island as it used to be the past three years.

As for last year, seven did not start, while two failed to finish out of the 251 registered runners.
