CEBU, Philippines - Alta Vista Golf and Country will be hosting the Directors’ Cup Saturday at its course carved on the hills of Pardo, Cebu City.

This tournament is open to both club members and guests, but non-members need an invitation from one of the club directors to join.  There are only 30 slots available for guests.

Entry fee is pegged at P700 for members and P1,000 for guests.

The tournament will be an individual event using the Modified Stableford Scoring System.  The current handicap will be applied.

The scoring system awards six points for a net double-eagle, five for a net ace, four for net eagle, three for net birdie, two for net par, and one for net bogey.

More than a hundred players have already signified for the event, but there are still limited slots available for last-minute entries.

At stake will be prizes for the top three players for classes A, B, and C and the Seniors Division (55 to 69 years old).

The top two for the ladies, super seniors (70 years old and above) and the guest divisions will also be receiving specially-crafted trophies.

There will also be special prizes for the shot that is nearest to the pin on hole No. 6 and the most accurate drive on hole No. 11.
