CPPO plans tourist police in Moalboal

CEBU – Cebu Provincial Police Office director Carmelo Valmoria is planning to assign a tourist police force for Moalboal town.

He said that while there are lots of tourist spots here in Cebu, many foreigners go to Moalboal where there are good diving spots.

A tourist policeman will still undergo special training like scuba training and speaking in different languages. 

For the CPPO to realize this entire plan, it will also tap the Department of Tourism and the Department of Foreign Affairs as well as other concerned government offices. — Christopher Gabriel Bonjoc/BRP (THE FREEMAN)
