SKY, Star Media Group bring Sinulog 2018 online

CEBU, Philippines — Leading cable and broadband provider SKY has partnered with The Philippine Star Media Group in bringing the 2018 Sinulog Festival to the entire nation and to Filipinos around the world.

The partnership was signed last January 10, 2018 at the Star Media Group building in Cebu City.

In attendance were SKY Cebu’s General Manager Kino Sarabosing, The Freeman General Manager Melandro Mendoza, and The Freeman Editor-in-chief Archie Modequillo.

The Star Media Group’s regional news groups, The Freeman and Banat News, will host SKY’s official YouTube page coverage of the annual festival on its digital platforms and will supplement SKY’s coverage with the latest and most comprehensive news updates.

Coverage will also be mirrored in the Star Media Group’s official site, philstar.com.

SKY’s official YouTube coverage includes the Sinulog Festival Queen Coronation Night on January 19 at 6 p.m., the Sinulog Grand Parade on January 21 at 7 a.m., and the Sinulog Awarding Ceremony on January 22 at 1 p.m.

Meanwhile, SKY subscribers in Mega Manila can watch the live coverage of the events on channel 211 (SD) and 243 (HD), while subscribers in Cebu, Bacolod, Iloilo, Baguio, Davao, General Santos, and Dumaguete can watch on channel 64 (SD) and 702 (HD).

SKYdirect subscribers may also view it on channel 46. It may also be viewed through SKY on Demand.
