Symphony of lights for Pasko sa Kapitolyo

The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines — The Cebu provincial government launched the Symphony of Lights show at the Cebu Provincial Capitol grounds yesterday.

This is the first time that Capitol came up with this event named Paskohanong Kahayag: A Symphony of Lights, which is the highlight in the  Pasko sa Kapitolyo 2017.

“Instead of displaying Christmas lights, Belen and Christmas Tree at the Capitol Building we will be having the symphony of lights show which is one of the highlights for the celebration of the Christmas Season here in Capitol,” said Cebu South Bus Terminal (CSBT) Operations Manager Joey Herrera, one of the members of the committee behind the show.

The Symphony of Lights show, which starts at 5:30p.m. and ends at 9 p.m., will run until the last day of the year.

The launching of the Symphony of Lights was led by Gov. Hilario Davide, his wife Jobella and Vice Gov. Magpale and was attended by the Provincial Board Members and department heads.

“The light is there to guide us,” Jobella said in her message, saying that the show is inspired by the light from the star which guided the three Kings during the birth of Jesus. (FREEMAN)
