3 injured in collision

CEBU, Philippines — Three persons were injured when a multicab and a Nissan Urvan collided in Barangay Busay, Cebu City around 10:55 a.m. yesterday.

Ebaristo Banyog, who was driving the multicab of Banyog Hardware Supply, his wife, who was seated in the passenger side, and Nissan Urvan driver Giovanni Agad were all injured when the accident happened.

Police Supt. Conrado V. Manatad, Chief of the Traffic Patrol Group of the Cebu City Police Office, said the parties decided to settle the matter among themselves and no one went to the police station to have the incident recorded.

Cebu City traffic enforcers just took the sketch of the accident for record purposes.

Manatad said that the bad weather or the blind curve were not the exact reasons of the collision, saying the incident was purely accidental.

Volunteers of the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation and the Capitol ambulance assisted Banyog and his wife after they have settled the incident with Agad.  (FREEMAN)
