Talisay City employees to get P25T bonus

CEBU, Philippines — All employees of the Talisay City Government will receive within the week P25,000 each as Collective Negotiable Agreement (CNA) bonus.
Talisay City Budget Officer Edgar Mabunay said the CNA will be released to all regular employees not later than December 15 along with the P5,000 Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI).
Last Friday, the city council held a special session to approve the second supplemental budget worth more than P 8.4 million which covers the CNA and PEI.
The Department of Budget and Management has issued a memorandum stating the guidelines for the granting CNA incentive this year.
The CNA incentive may be granted to both management and rank and file employees and agencies from the savings on the 2017 maintenance and other operating expenditure (MOOE) items, as a result of cost-cutting measures.
Mabunay said that each office has successful cut their respective expenses.
“Mag sige man sad ko pasidaan, sulti sa mga offices nga pamaw'ng dayon sa suga para ma lower bayranan sa kuryente, dili usik usik sa tubig o uban pa kay in kaso katong sa CNA, kinsa ra man ma-benefited ana nga kita ra man sab,” he said.
