Pizza worker stops snatching, shot dead by same suspects
CEBU, Philippines - For helping prevent a snatching incident, a 21-year-old man was shot dead allegedly by two unidentified assailants in Barangay Carreta, Cebu City late afternoon yesterday.
The victim was identified as Crisanto Amoranto, a resident of the area, and was known to be working in one of a known pizza stores. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to his head that resulted to his instantaneous death.

“Last July 25, naa daw gi-snatchan ani nga same area ug gitabangan daw kini ni Crisanto. Na-identify sya sa mga suspects mao ila na sad giatngan ang biktima para makabalos sa pagpugong ni Crisanto nila. Mao pa na amo nakuha na information sa karon,” Ramos said.
“As of now, wala pa nato na-identified kung kinsa ang suspek pero naa may CCTV diri nga lugar. We are sure na na-capture ang pagpusil sa suspek sa biktima,” he added.
Ramos said the whole incident was captured by a CCTV camera when the two unidentified men arrived at the spot and opened fire at the victim.
“CCTVs around the area will be checked by the operatives to identify the suspects. Amo na ipa-check ang CCTVs as soon as possible para mahibaw-an nato kung kinsa gyud ang nagpusil sa biktima,” Ramos said.
