Topnotch derby up at Pasay cockpit

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Aces of the leading Metro Manila cockers slug it out today for top honors in the Fighter 3-cock derby at the Pasay City Cockpit.

The event serves as a follow-up to last Friday’s Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) 5-bullstag derby which featured 150 fights.

Rep. Patrick Antonio (Sagupaan Pasay Big Event May 5) emerged as 2017 LGBA Cocker of the Year after posting a total of 14 wins out of 19 fights.

Rep. Antonio’s consistent winning percentages from start to finish did the trick, said new PCC pit manager Gerald Go.

Mel Lim (JMW Fighter) placed second with 13 points while Rep. Laurence Wacnang (Crowsland), Jimmy Junsay-Dennis Reyes (Team Jared) and Tony Aguinaldo (Grant Ultimate Rush) wound up with 12.5 points each.

Meanwhile, the PCC will host the next derby, the Mangyan Warriors 5-cock, April 21 with Sagupaan Complexor 3000 as backer.
