Lenten season comes like a whiff of refreshing air amid the myriad of never-imagined-could-ever-happen events happening locally and globally. It’s a good time to soul search, to find the deeper meaning of life. To discover the best path to tread. To reach out to those in dire need … like a thread it connects us to our fellow pilgrims. To learn that true peace and happiness can only come with the simplicity of faith.
Pray this Holy Week helps moor us to the ground. To humbly realize that after climbing the long slope of the hill in pursuit of material gains and power… at the road-end of life the accumulated wealth and power … shall all be left behind. To remember, life is meant to be lived for a greater cause – for others and our beloved land.
Our times are in God’s hand. Our souls are in His keeping. Let us look beyond earthly shadows … for from dust we came into this world … to dust shall we also depart. Focus then our earthly journey on our Lord … our Light!!!
