May pasabog ang PBA para sa kanilang ika-42 anibersaryo

MANILA, Philippines -  Ipagdiriwang ng Phi-lippine Basketball Association ang kanilang ika-42 anibersaryo ngayon sa Mall of Asia Arena sa Pasay City.

Itatampok sa event na itinataguyod ng HMR Phils, KServico Trade Inc., Turks Shawarma, TCL at Cloudfone bilang mga sponsors ang paglulunsad sa bagong theme jingle ng liga.

“We owe our fans a great deal of gratitude. They are the reason why the PBA remains strong through these years,” sabi ni PBA Commissioner Chito Narvasa.

“We can’t thank them enough. All we can offer them is a promise that the Commissioner’s Office, the team owners and the Board of Governors will continue to work hard to ensure them of top notch games. We are also improving on our social media platform to keep them informed on all the happenings around the league and get them clo-ser to their favorite pla-yers,” dagdag pa nito.

Sinabi ni Narvasa ipapakita sa big screen sa loob ng MOA Arena ang mga piling film clips sa pagsisimula at kasalu-kuyang mga aksyon sa PBA.

“Your PBA is not just about its officials, its teams, its players. Dahil ang PBA ay ikaw, ako, tayong lahat, WE ARE PBA,” wika ni Narvasa.

Magtatagpo ang Mahindra at TNT Katropa ngayong alas-4:30 ng hapon kasunod ang 'Manila Clasico' ng Barangay Ginebra at Star sa alas-6:45 ng gabi.

Nakatakda ring magbigay ang PBA ng television sets, smart phones at iba pang items sa ka-nilang foundation day celebration, ayon kay PBA media bureau chief Willie Marcial.

Libreng general admission tickets ang ibibigay sa unang 1,000 fans.
