2 drug suspects slain

MANILA, Philippines -  Two more drug suspects  and two others were killed in separate incidents on Monday.

Unidentified motorcycle-riding men repeatedly shot Erickson Abordunato, 33, in Barangay Loma de Gato in Marilao, Bulacan.

Two bullet shells for a caliber .45 pistol and a piece of paper identifying the fatality as a snatcher and drug pusher were recovered at the scene.

In Negros Occidental, suspected New People’s Army rebels shot Danta Bahala, 27, while he was talking with his friends in front of a convenience store in  Barangay Montilla in Moises Padilla town.

Chief Inspector Allan Reloj, town police chief, said Bahala was a newly identified drug suspect and tagged in murder and theft cases.

Police are investigating if an unidentified man who was found dead along NIA Road in Barangay Bucandala IV in Imus City, Cavite, was a drug suspect. The body of the victim bore gunshot wounds .

In Quezon, the body of Marino Amat, which bore stab wounds, was found in a public cemetery in Barangay Poblacion 11 in Tiaong town.

Meanwhile, an alleged gang leader was killed and his two sons were wounded in an encounter with Special Action Force commandos in Alicia town in Zamboanga Sibugay  yesterday.

Superintendent Romulo Cleve Taboso, provincial police chief, identified the fatality as Yasin Karim with aliases of Imam Yasin, Commander Manbing and Commander Maas.

Karim’s sons were identified as Aujae Mohammad and Morad Mohammad. 

Taboso said police and military operatives were serving warrants to arrest the suspects when they were fired at.  Police Officer 2 Larry Falitnang was wounded in the clash.
