Haplos nina Ate Vi at Boyet, bagay ngayong undas!

YSTAR - Baby E - Pang-masa

Tanging sina Juan Rodrigo at Rez Cortez lamang, among the cast of the restored version of the 1982 movie, Haplos, ang present sa screening na ginanap sa UP Town Center Cinema 3.

Si Rio naman, like Ricky, is reportedly in the US.

No need to tell you kung ano ang hitsura ng cast 34 years ago.

Haplos, which Bibsy Carballo line-produced for Mirick Films, a production owned by Jesse Chua, ay tiyak na nakaka-identify with pa rin ang mga millennillas.

Sana, ABS-CBN would release Haplos in one, two, or three theaters ngayong malapit na ang Undas.

May temang horror kasi ang Haplos.

Alfred mas fokus sa political career

Nakasabayan pala ni now 2nd term Representative ng fifth district na Quezon City, si Alfed Vargas, as a Star Magic talent sina Dennis Trillo (yes, he started as a Kapamilya, too), Nadine Samonte at Bea Alonzo more than 10 years ago.

Star Magic, of course, is the discovery and talent arm ng ABS-CBN.

He was a Kapamilya for two years may memorable siyang ginawang series, ang Pangako Sa ‘Yo, na pinagbidahan nina Jericho Rosales at Kristine Hermosa.

Now, of course, like Dennis, isang Kapuso na si Rep. Alfred.

He makes time, though, to do films, ‘pag feel niyang maganda ang pelikula. One best example is Supremo, kunsaan nanalo siyang best actor sa 10th Golden Screen Awards.

Direction is by Perry Escaño na kilala bilang theater, TV, and film actor.

Bilang member ng House Representatives, Rep. Alfred is getting noticed for the 100 or so bills he has principally authored, one of which is the Mandatory Philhealth Coverage for all Senior Citizens.

Jake’s next agenda is to do an indie movie, titled Requied, na siya ang bida at magpu-produce.
