Dead man found in Compostela
CEBU, Philippines - A man was found dead yesterday dawn along the shoreline of Barangay Poblacion, Compostela.
The unidentified man was wearing a jersey and pants when found by a resident past 4 a.m. in Sitio Aggies. Police Officer 2 Michael Magallon, desk officer of Compostela Police Station, said investigators initially found traces of wounds in the body indicating possible foul play.
Magallon said the person is between 18 to 20 years old and is sporting several tattoos in the body.
The Compostela Police Station is now coordinating with the neighboring police stations to check reports of missing person.
As of yesterday afternoon, no one has come to the police station to claim the body, which is now at Angga Maturan Funeral Homes in Liloan. — (FREEMAN)
