Police arrest 6 in saturation
CEBU, Philippines - Six people were arrested including a 'drug den operator' during an anti-drug operation conducted by the operatives of the Cebu City Police Office in Barangay San Roque last Monday.
The suspects were identified as Debbie Pandara, 22; Melissa Jane Estilo, 21; Fritz Jo Abb Cane, 21; Garry Nonay, 18; Jonel Cojenos, 18; and Myrna Pantallona, 51.
Except for Cojenos and Pantallona who were caught in possession of a small plastic pack of suspected shabu and for operating a drug den, respectively, the rest of the suspects were arrested sniffing drugs.
Pandara, Estilo, Cane, and Nonay will face criminal complaints for violation of Section 12 of R.A. 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act 2002 while Cojenos will be charged for violation of Section 11 or possession of drugs. Pantallona, on the other hand, will be charged for violation of Section 6 or maintenance of a drug den. (FREEMAN)
