reminders of the guiding light exalt the season’s rhyme.

Quest Hotel and Conference Center Cebu

…lighted of its Christmas Tree at the hotel lobby on November 13. A bell ringing ceremony marked the tree lighting ceremony, led by Cebu vice governor Agnes Magpale. The occasion also signaled the opening of a sights-and-sounds-of-Cebu photo exhibit by the members of the Photographers Club of Cebu at the hotel lobby. The exhibit would run through the duration of the Sinulog 2018 season.

Ayala Center Cebu

…ushered in the holiday season on December 1 with the opening salvo of the mall’s annual “Symphony of Lights” display at The Terraces. Now on its third year, this year’s “Symphony of Lights” lights and sounds show at the mall will run through the Sinulog 2018 season.

Shangri-la’s Mactan Resort & Spa

…held a night of music and dance for this year’s Christmas Tree lighting ceremony. The lighting ceremony at the hotel’s Lobby Lounge took place on November 24, led by the resort’s general manager René D Egle and Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza.

Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino

…had the lighting of its Christmas train-themed tree on the third Friday of November. Held at the hotel’s lobby, the occasion was led by the hotel’s general manager Anders Hallden.

Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan

…has an under-the-sea-themed Christmas Tree as the resort’s Christmas season centerpiece this year. Decked with coral-themed decorations and topped by a starfish-inspired star, the resort had the lighting of its tree on November 17.

Mandani Bay

…had the lighting of its 35-feet Christmas Tree On November 18, at the Mandani Bay Show Gallery, with top officials of the development spearheading the festivities. The tree lighting was timed with a spectacular fireworks display. (FREEMAN)
