The “Sky Park”

CEBU, Philippines - An Alice-in-Wonderland-themed celebration marked the inauguration of SM Seaside City’s “Sky Park” on September 23 – ushering in a whole new world of fun at SM Malls’ newest shopping and lifestyle complex in Metro Cebu.

With no less than the “Mad Hatter” guiding guests through the features and highlights of the open-air park, those in attendance got first-view dibs of the park’s playground facilities, amphitheaters, interactive water play area and a one-of-a-kind playground designed by globally-renowned industrial designer Kenneth Cobonpue.

“Alice” – together with the “White Queen” and “Red Queen” – also had cameo appearnces during the celebration, performing songs and dance numbers with a cast of “Card Soldiers” – much to the glee of the young and young-at-heart who were present.

Intended to be a venue that fosters the Cebuano sense of community, “Sky Park” centers on nurturing kids’ creativity through the fun of outdoor play. The open-air space awaits friends and family to spend relaxing moments together. (FREEMAN)
