CEBU, Philippines - At seven years old, JPark Island Resort Waterpark holds firmly to its standing as one of Mactan’s top resorts – dynamically continuing its streak in setting new heights in Mactan’s recreation and hospitality scene.

In formally celebrating its 7th anniversary last September 16, the guest list included consul generals, industry partners and members of the media. The guests were treated to dinner with scrumptious Asian and Western fares. The celebration had a Hawaiian Luau theme that mirrored the warm and welcoming vibe that has since become signature character of the resort.

Sitti Navarro – the Philippines’ “Queen of Bossa Nova” – performed during the event. The songstress dished out a selection of her hits, alongside fabulous dance numbers by the JPark’s “Amico Dancers,” as well as party games and more.

Justin Uy, who heads Philippine BXT Corporation, the holding firm of the resort, expressed his gratitude to everyone present during the celebration, and also expressed his excitement and zeal over new highlights yet to come to JPark in the days ahead. (FREEMAN)
