Cebu Litfest 2016
CEBU, Philippines - Writing is a discourse of a person's thoughts manifested on paper. In this age when the writing community has grown considerably and growing still, a discourse among writers is important.
Cebuano writers were anticipating for an evening of discussions on the writing craft at "Write!" in this year's Cebu LitFest. The event took place at East West Café, the Walk IT Park last April 26, with literary enthusiasts, rising authors, and amateur writers in attendance.
The literary gathering also had exciting writing activities in various literary art forms, like poetry, essay and short story. Participants were assigned to write, inspired by cryptic cards of their own choosing.
The meet-ups were not only simple gatherings of bookworms, these also gave attendees a chance to meet different people with the same love literature. Many of the participants expressed great pleasure over their experience at the Cebu Litfest 2016, saying it all the more make them fascinated with the writing art. (FREEMAN)
