CEBU, Philippines - Summer promises an abundance of sunshine, lasting memories and exciting travels. But there is more to the sunny season than pristine beaches and exciting adventures. It is also the time for new discoveries, a chance to try something different and find new inspirations to nourish the soul. This month, Ayala Center Cebu offers experiences that inspire.

1. Soothing music for the soul. Fill your nights with captivating tunes and lyrics that hit close to home with a musical spectacle. Last night, students of the Brown Academy of Music gave a concert titled “Turn Up the Music!” featuring Anna Fegi-Brown and other special guests, at The Terraces. On Sunday, April 24, at 5 p.m., mall-goers are treated to a musical recital by the students of Virtuoso School of Music, at the Activity Center.

4. New ventures and hobbies. It’s time to start something new on April 8 to 10, by learning the ins and outs of franchising opportunities in the food, retail and service sector during the Philippine Franchise Association Expo, at the Activity Center.

It’s also time to jumpstart a healthy lifestyle and get ready to discover the steps of living well at the FWD Life’s Live to Move Health & Wellness Campaign, “Move for a healthier Lifestyle!” on Saturday, April 23, at The Terraces.

For the months of April and May, there are activities to nurture children’s creativity and interests, with Ayala’s summer workshops in taekwondo, ballet, fashion modelling for teens and kids, cooking, hosting, drawing and painting, voice workshop, guitar and violin lessons, and Vanguard card game.

5. All-time favorite entertainment. Nothing beats the familiar rush of joy that usual favorites give, such as movie marathons, shopping and fashion.
