Two galleries, one exhibit

PEOPLE PLACES - Flor Ynclino - The Freeman

In celebrating its third year in the art scene with its very first show for 2016, Qube Gallery collaborated with Hiraya Gallery in staging the "35:3" exhibit. The show marks Hiraya's 35th year anniversary as one of the country's most reputable galleries and Qube's 3rd anniversary as one of the leading art spaces in the Visayas. Both galleries have risen through years of maintaining the same principles and purpose - cultivating and promoting Filipino talents, here and abroad.

In attendance were Randalf Dilla, one of Hiraya Gallery's artists, Didi Dee of Hiraya Gallery, the whole team of Qube Gallery comprised of Maris Holopainen, Bea Sagun, Vinnie Tan, and Joan Piano, friends from the media, and art enthusiasts. The centerpiece of the exhibit was the Martial Law-inspired "Tyranny of Hindsight" by Randalf Dilla standing at 8x18.5 ft. in size. The exhibit ran until February 2.
